The Liebster Award

Hey guys! I was nominated for the Liebster (loved) Award by Rachel Shaus over at Notes from My Corner of Creation! (Actually, it's nothing that special, considering that she nominated everyone who read her post. :P) But I thought, hey, why not take the challenge! So here goes:

1.   What is your favourite colour? PURPLE! (Can you tell?)
2.    If you where to travel anywhere on earth where would it be? Oh gosh. Everywhere! I must say though, America is high on that list, considering that I have a stack of awesome internet-friends (including Rachel Shaus!) over there. Scandinavia would be awesome too... and around the Mediterranean...
3.    Favourite season? Winter, hands down. It used to be autumn when I lived in a colder climate, but it's winter now that we've moved.
4.    What is the most adventurous thing you've ever done? Umm... I've been on a number of crazy bushwalks with family, I've given a talk on purity to young women half a decade older than me. But I guess the most adventurous thing was choosing to live life for God and submit to Him. It's crazy, but so worth it. :D
5.    Can you pick just one favorite song? If so, what is it? The simple answer is 'no.' :P Faves at the moment include 'Matter' by for King and Country, 'For You' by Josh Garrels, and anything by The Gray Havens.
6.    Do you have any hobbies? What are they? Reading, when I get time! And blogging, of course. And dancing, if you count around the house all day. And other creative things that capture me for a season - crocheting, hand-lettering in Chinese ink, drawing, etc.
7.    What did you eat for breakfast? (Ah, random, Rachel!) I had scrambled eggs with cheese.
8.    Your opinion on mismatching socks is… If you wear them, wear them with pride! I don't personally wear mismatched socks, probably cause the only socks I really wear are black ones. But I don't mind if others wear them! Go crazy! Just no socks, and sandals. Ick.
9.    What is the wildest pet you have ever owned? Well, we have a green tree-frog living in our drain pipe that we've named Bob. That doesn't really count though. The only other pets we've owned are chickens. (No pet kangaroos, you Americans! :P)
10.  Your favourite bible verse is?? At the moment, probably all of Psalm 62, or 2 Corinthians 5:15: "And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again."

Now I'm supposed to tag a bunch of other bloggers to give them the award and challenge. Here's who I nominate:

Raquel from "It's Just Raquel."

Katie from "His Princess Warrior."

Lauren from "Defying Depravity." (Although you've probably been tagged by Rachel.)

Rachel Shaus again, just because she wanted to get asked some questions. :)

Here are your 10 questions:

  1. Why do you blog?
  2. Who are the most supportive people in your life?
  3. How many siblings do you have (feel free to skip this if you'd rather not say)?
  4. What is your favourite board/card game?
  5. If you could have dinner with one person, past or present, who would it be?
  6. What are the three top things you'd look for in a spouse (BESIDES being a strong Christian)?
  7. What do you want to be when you grow up?
  8. What is a good book you've read recently?
  9. What is your (very brief) opinion on crushes?
  10. Does your family have a TV?

  1. (As a note: I was trying to be random. So that's why there are a some very random questions.)

    1. Haha, OK. They were good questions, despite - or perhaps because of - rampant randomness. :D OK, maybe not rampant, I just like those two words together... :P
